Breakfast was fine....timing was wide...6 - 11 am. Location is great....nearly like Times Square - Cairo style....this Ramses Square (area) is always alive. - Is a major hub of subway lines with entrances at every corner....Metro is very inexpensive...and connects to all parts of the city - even if you are not going anywhere....ride it...is below ground in center...but above ground out....almost best value is seeing ALL kinds of Cairo dwellers...in the full spectrum of attire...Moslem and all other......of all ages...parade before your eyes stop to stop... - Main railway station is there...walking distance.. - Hotel restaurant on 8th floor...with patio space outdoor tables and view of the city. (and they can change money...at good rate) - streets are always busy....full spectrum of citizenry.....no hint of personal safety day or night - always lots of people around....going and coming....no bother from them....no beggars.... - Hotel entrance is just off the main street (Ramses st)....is an ordinary...older part of town...but NO problems.. - Locate on Google maps..... - Hotel is in renovation....is an original GRAND hotel...now resuming that status... - For the price.....can't beat it. Not far from the airport....has airport metro line in construction. - crossing streets is not for newcomers (there are NO traffic lights..but lots of auto horns)....but...can do the same by going down to the Metro access level to walk to all corners/sides..as you want...and the train station.... - You will not regret this location if you want to see, experience, and learn about the real Cairo.

Locationwise Multiple Side street entrances from the chaos of Ramsis Square. Well known to taxi drivers. Very close to all amenities as one of the main travel veins ( trains buses and coaches) of Cairo. The location affords the traveller a real sense of Cairo less experienced by many because you hardly encounter westerners. ( Hence no hagglers) The property is currently undergoing renovations which would inevitably become a much better and bigger hotel and therefore highly recommend the experience to anyone looking for the real Cairo. A very big thank you to George Ibrahim (the Manager) for tirelessly making all who stayed at the hotel comfortable. Always available to help no matter the time of day. Thank you George.

I stayed here for longer than I initially expected. It fulfilled my expectations, nice breakfast, nice people in the hotel, close to the metro/subway and train station, sometimes they provided me with water, and they cleaned whenever I asked them to do it. You may read some negative reviews about the infrastructure, but as I stayed for longer I saw what happened. They remodeled the place, so things kept changing little by little. At the end of my stay it looked way better than at the beginning, but of course during the time they were remodeling it was not a nice experience to other people staying.

The hotel is amazing. Very good price for the value. The food is delicious. Stuff is very professional rooms are very clean. It’s my second time there definitely will come again. Everyone was more than helpful. Wi-Fi speed at the room was amazing. When I requested a quiet room away from the street, they give me room 511. It was very very quiet. I had pleasant sleep. The hotel is newly renovated. The rooms is very well designed.

Hello this hotel is wonderful. Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly and helpful personel. Hotel is constantly upgrading. I had three different bookings in three different rooms and all were very comfortable and private. They have nice restaurant on 8th floor with city view and big screen. Restaurant open 24/7. Ramsis train station just vis a vis hotel. Many unique stores just outside the doors. What could you ask more for?
